Do you or your child often:

  • Struggle with focus?
  • Have trouble starting and completing tasks?
  • Make careless mistakes?
  • Have trouble with planning and organizing?
  • Lose or misplace things?
  • Feel restless or fidgety?
  • Interrupt others?
  • Have difficulty waiting in line?
  • Make impulsive decisions?

If you answered YES to some or all of these questions, an ADHD assessment would be helpful.

What Is An ADHD Assessment?

An ADHD assessment uses standardized measures to evaluate a person’s verbal and nonverbal thinking and reasoning abilities, memory skills, visual-motor coordination, and attention and executive functioning skills. Behavioural and social-emotional functioning may also be examined in the context of a person’s stage of development and in comparison to others his/her age.

The assessment involves individual, parent, teacher and/or child interviews, observations, one-on-one testing, and questionnaires/rating scales.
